I do not like ants, Sam-I-Am
I do not like them on my pan
I do not like them in my room
I do not like them on my spoon
I do not like them in my dish
I do not like them on my fish
I do not like them on my floor
I do not like them on my door
But
I do not think they like this caulk
I do not think through it they can walk
I do not think they can get through
That wonderful white gloopy goo
(Ok, so I'm not a poet, at least I can put down a bead of caulk)
Trust me, you are not alone in your dislike of ants.

I'm glad mine are more the "Absconding with bits of cat food" kind than the biting kind.
They found a new way in this morning, so I cleaned again and caulked again. Eventually they'll find all the spots in my kitchen that need caulking...
but at least you can consider them trained ants, since they are doing something useful...
Posted by: beth at August 27, 2003 10:28 AMAnts? Just wait til you have earwigs crawling in your kitchen. Ugh. Next time I move, I'm making sure _they_ aren't there - they only live in a few states.
Talk about creepy feelings
